About BORNETO
Built for Tourism. Built to Connect.
BORNETO is a professional membership network connecting tourism businesses, individuals, available capacity and operational needs.
How BORNETO Began
BORNETO began in Tanzania. While working alongside the tourism industry, founder Aleksandra Kolar recognised that useful resources and opportunities were often missed because the right people did not find each other at the right time.
The problem was not always a lack of resources. Sometimes, it was simply a lack of connection.
Conversations with tourism professionals shaped that observation into BORNETO: a more organised way to make real availability and real needs visible.
Beyond BORNETO
Aleksandra Kolar, BORNETO's founder, also leads the Kolar Foundation.
Why BORNETO Exists
Tourism depends on people, businesses and relationships, but information is often spread across personal contacts, calls and messages. BORNETO brings those needs and resources into one professional network.
By making available capacity easier to find, BORNETO can reduce missed opportunities and unused resources. As the network develops, feedback from its members will guide new services and priorities.
Built around tourism. Shaped by its people.
BORNETO Connects. You Do the Business.
BORNETO provides the network and tools. Members agree the service, price, payment and every other commercial term directly between themselves.
BORNETO charges membership fees only. It does not book tourism services, process or collect payments, hold deposits, or take commission.
Tanzania First
BORNETO begins in Tanzania, where the idea was born and continues to develop with the people and businesses working in tourism.
The first priority is to build something genuinely useful here, listen to its members and grow into other tourism markets with the same principle at its heart.
Tanzania is where BORNETO begins. 💪🏾
